When reserving your tour with Explorer Pass,
- The ferry ticket is not included, you’ll need a ferry ticket to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to get to this tour.
How can I get ferry tickets?
- You may either
- use one more attraction from your Explorer Pass (click here to Go City Website). A heads up that reserving a ferry ticket using Explorer Pass is highly recommended, but not required. Please make sure there are at least 2 available attractions on your pass on the day of the tour (one is for the tour, another one is for the ferry). You only need to show the Explorer Pass QR code and get scanned by the ferry check-in to board – You don’t need to go to the ticket booth for exchanging paper tickets. Also, access to the Pedestal and Crown of the Statue of Liberty is not included with your pass.

- If you don’t want to use extra attraction on your Explorer Pass for the ferry, you can purchase your ferry ticket directly from Statue Cruises online or at the ticket booth upon arrival. Please select New York and 9 am (Summer)/9:25 am (winter) departure.
Why is the earliest ferry departure is 9 am (in summer)/9:25 (in winter), but the tour starts at 8:30 am?
- It needs time for customers to check in with the tour guide and the ferry company requires all passengers to go through the airport-style security check.
- Please DO NOT join the ferry line without the tour guide.
