Important Information
- Some tours are not included in certain passes, please check the Pass you purchased while making a reservation.
- A credit card is required to hold the reservation, you will not be charged unless you don’t show up or the pass is invalid on the tour date.
- Guests who cancel the tour less than 48 hours before the tour departure date will also be charged.
Cancellation Policy
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- Cancellation requests made less than 48 hours before the departure date are not accepted.
- All requests must be in writing and received by us via email (simply reply to the confirmation email, or send the email to sales@insideouttours.com).

- Meet your guide in front of the front gate of Castle Clinton National Monument in Battery Park. (DO NOT join the ferry line without the guide and the group)
This tour is NOT included in the New York Pass, All-Inclusive Pass by Go City, NYC Borough Pass and Sightseeing Flex Pass.

When reserving your tour with Explorer Pass or CSA tickets:
- The ferry ticket is not included, you’ll need a ferry ticket to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to get to this tour.
How can I get ferry tickets (Please pay attention to your ticket type)?
- If you are a Go City Explorer Pass Holder, you can
- use one more attraction from your Explorer Pass (click here to Go City Website). A heads up that reserving a ferry ticket using Explorer Pass is required by the ferry company and Go City. Please make sure there are at least 2 available attractions on your pass on the day of the tour (one is for the tour, and another one is for the ferry). You need to show both your ferry confirmation ID and Explorer Pass QR code to the ferry check-in staff to board – You don’t need to go to the ticket booth for exchanging paper tickets. Also, access to the Pedestal and Crown of the Statue of Liberty is not included with your pass.

- if you don’t want to use an additional attraction on your Explorer Pass for the ferry, we strongly recommend you purchase your ferry ticket directly from Statue Cruises online in advance. Please select New York and 9 am departure.

- You need to purchase the ferry ticket in advance directly from Statue Cruises as it may sell out on the day of the tour** online**. Please select New York and 9 am departure.
Why is the earliest ferry departure is 9 am, but the tour starts at 8:30 am?
- Our tour starts before boarding at the front gate of Castle Clinton in Battery Park.
- It needs time for customers to check in with the tour guide and the ferry company requires all passengers to go through the airport-style security check.
- Please DO NOT join the ferry line without the tour guide.
Can I cancel or reschedule my reservation?

What if I am running late?
