Russell is a New York native, born and raised in Flushing, Queens. He attributes his later disinterest in sports, to his misfortune at growing up in a place where the Mets were the hometown team. Finding at last that his limit on living outside of New York is 18 months, he is now a permanent resident of Harlem. At least until they learn how to make bagels someplace else. Hello! My name is Tim and I am looking forward to meeting you and leading your next tour. I have leading tours in New York, DC, and Philadelphia for 13 years. While on tour, I want your experience to truly be eye opening, fun, and inspiring. When I am not leading tours, I work as an actor in theater and film. I hope to share my insights and humor with you on your next tour.

“Tim was an awesome guide–he is both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about these tour stops. I also appreciated how he was very careful to keep the group together when boarding/unboarding the ferry.

Not only did he enlighten us all with the subject matter at hand, he was an awesome resource in letting us know about other things to do in NYC.

Probably his best advice was where to get the pizza in NY–Joe’s Pizza on Carmine Street. I agree–it was awesome! It’s NY style pizza (unlike the Chicago style I’m used to back in the Midwest)–huge slices on thin crust. Delicious! Thanks for the tip, Tim.”

“Tim was an excellent guide, very informative, good sense of humor and allowed plenty of time for us to ask questions. Great guide, great visit.”
