“We just got home from 7 days in New York. We did 4 walking tours while we were there. The Alternative Street Art tour was a favorite for my 18-year-old. I also enjoyed it very much. Just be prepared if you go in July it is HOT! Awesome tour definitely would recommend it!”
“This was a fabulous tour and one of the highlights of our trip to NY. It is, in my view, exactly what a walking tour should be – the right balance of walking and lots of information. This tour was crammed full of sights and information with plenty of time at each stop to absorb the building. The guide … was engaging and very passionate about her tour. We really felt like we were delving beneath the surface of the city a bit more. Our group size was great about 12 people so we were able to keep together. Be aware that you will be on your feet for most of the tour and you will walk from 1st avenue to 8th. Comfortable shoes, lots of water. Highly recommended”
“Just got back from New York and we went on the Gospel Tour … OMG it was really cold but well worth it we had an amazing time the highlight of our trip anyone going to New York you really have to book this tour. THANK YOU … and please thank the church it was so uplifting”
“We recently took the Highlights of Midtown Architectural Tour with [a Tour Guide] from Inside Out Tours. It was a fascinating way to see some of the key buildings in midtown, NY, and we saw a lot of buildings and learnt historical facts we would not have known otherwise. [The Tour Guide] was extremely knowledgeable and overall it was one the best ways we saw New York.
“… our guide, was simply awesome. She is passionate about her job and you can definitely feel it. The Bronx tour is one of the most interesting I had during my trip in NYC, since I discovered something about that borough that I would have never had the chance to know. It is definitely a great tour, and an amazingly knowledgeable guide.”
“An educational and informative tour. The information was delivered clearly and the tour was well-paced for all those attending. I learned a lot about slavery in the early days of the city, and would strongly recommend this tour to anyone with a thirst for knowledge.”
“We took the Underground Railroad tour with this company in August and loved it! What struck us was the high level of expertise that the tour guide had. He was also enjoyable to listen to and friendly. The Underground Railroad and Slavery Tour was fabulous!”
“I took this Gospel-tour two weeks ago, solo as a visual impaired person (no peripheral sight). The tour guide made everything to make it easy for me to enjoy this tour. Our guide knew many interesting facts, and attending the Gospel-service at Brooklynite Tabernacle was amazing. You must also stay for the sermon, but you do that with pleasure to respect the church community. A must-do in New York on a Sunday.”
“My daughter and I had a wonderful time with the alternative arts walking tour in Brooklyn. Our tour guide was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and made me view streets arts in a very new way. We had a plenty of time to take photographs. It was really a neat way of learning more about New York. I also liked that we stopped at a local coffee shop. It was nice to relax a bit, participate in the local economy, and have a chance to sit down. We had two other walkings tours, which were all very good, and wish that there was this component of stopping at a coffee shop at each tour.”
“[The Tour Guide] was a perfect guide for this tour. It was fun meeting the business owners and learning the history of the area and best of all getting to taste the food!”
